DETAILS
The Advantage Card offers special savings on ski shop labor charges. Buy any two components and receive the Advantage Card. Example: skis and bindings, boots and bindings, skis and boots. (Poles do not count as a component).
BFC-Binding Function Test
We test the bindings to ensure they are functioning properly. You should have a BFC done:
1. At the beginning of each season.
2. Anytime you change boots.
3. Anytime you feel the bindings are releasing too soon or not soon enough.
4. Anytime you gain or loss weight.
5. When you turn 50 years old.
Remount
We take the old bindings off and remount the new ones. We pitch the old bindings if the customer does not ask for them.
Alpine Ski and Board Conditions
New - Duh!
Good - The base is free from cuts and gouges.
Fair - Three or four minor cuts or gouges easily repaired with the base repair gun. Edges may have some minor nicks. Slight oxidation is common.
Poor - Can you say "skiing behind a pickup truck on a gravel road"? Five+ cuts, gouges and grind marks. The tech is really going to work to restore these. Estimate repair at $35 and the customer will get a call from the tech if it will cost more.
